Fire Emblem: The Age of Legend
Both a castle-town and the surrounding duchy in northern Yeoria.
Ikrir is about 7,000 square miles in area, fairly average. Prosperous silver mines in the east where lie the Minalin Mountains and from which come most of the metal for the country’s Silver North-Ring have brought in quite a few people as miners and various supporting professions. Though the population is somewhat seasonal since the mines close in the winter, it is usually estimated at about 30,000. Most are farmers same as elsewhere, though they are rivaled in number by those working in the mining industry in some capacity as mentioned and so the central city is quite large at upwards of 10,000 inhabitants.
Duke Ikrir is disliked by quite of few of his subjects for taxing their crops very heavily so the food can be given cheaply to the miners, enriching him quite a bit.
It is bordered to the east by the Minalin Mountains separating it from Snorivia, by Gardnelle in the north, by Grenfeld in the northwest, by Deruvr in the west, and by several others to the south.
