Fire Emblem: The Age of Legend
The most populous city in all Feryngia and possibly Fomorti at 120,000 people. Now the capital and a district in the heartlands of the Frysolythian Empire, this city was once a small state in its own right.
Since ancient times the city of Frysolythia was populous due to its rich soil and abundant fish and was also known for its proud martial tradition and being one of the few accessible sources of Nachtite, which earned it its common epithet “The Black City.”
According to some (mostly inhabitants of the city), this naturally blessed land is either the place where the First Generation first set foot in Fomorti after leaving the Old Place or was the first settlement made by the Second Generation in the Age of Legend. The second generation warrior Ashkantir is particularly associated with this city and by it the whole of the Frysolythian Empire.
In 2A 1495 Frysolythia under Emperor Regyth the Shrewd was able to subdue Sythmyr, Maryn, Ketal, Mynt, and Syra and begin binding them into the heart of the powerful empire that still persists to this day. This great king, like many prominent historical figures, is regarded with great reverence and respect sometimes verging on Heresy in the Frysolythian Empire.
According to some, Frysolythia’s rise to prominence actually began most of a millenium earlier in the early days of the 7th century when King Isorth the Gallant of Sythmyr conquered it along with many other petty states nearby and thus set a sort of cultural precedent for the empire.
