Fire Emblem: The Age of Legend
Both a castle-town and the surrounding duchy in north-central Yeoria.
Deruvr is about 8000 square miles in area, about average. Especially to the south where it is watered by several streams from the distant Minalin Mountains the land is fairly fertile for the Northwestern Nations and in the south are carefully maintained and sizable timber forests that provide a good deal of useful lumber for export.
Duke Deruvr, though by all accounts an ambitious man and a dreamer with his thoughts always more on the horizon than the here and now, is fairly well regarded by his people- who probably number somewhere around 300,000- and is noted also for contributions to the scholarly study of the history of Dark Magic.
His soldiers are generally accounted some of the best in the land, for he drills and trains them very strictly even though his lands are not along any borders. In peacetime he also keeps them occupied with building up and restoring the castle, which had fallen into disrepair when he inherited it.
It is bordered to the north by Grenfeld, to the northeast by Gardnelle, and to the east by Ikrir as well as other duchies in the other directions.
